To summarize, MIM shares the dependency-inversion concept with Clean/Hexagonal/Onion Architectures. But MIM also proposes approaches that can be applied to the gray areas in the overall design process developers need to address to complete the project. Also this application architecture is less prescriptive, thus more universal.
